I didn't realize anyone else had actually read this. I remember laughing a lot when I read it, back when it first came out.

I thought of it as a very US sort of SF comedy and kind of wanted to compare it to HHGTG point by point in an attempt to compare the cultures that produced each. I never did, but I thought about doing it.
